What is OES Metal Analysis?

A high-voltage spark excites atoms in the metal sample. The light they emit is separated by wavelength, and each element's concentration is calculated from its spectral signature. Steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, nickel, titanium, zinc, magnesium alloys — all covered, all from one platform.

Built on Paschen-Runge optical design with CMOS and PMT detector technology, modern OES analyzers reach sensitivity down to the ppb level. The standard analytical method in foundry, steel production, automotive, and aerospace industries.
