The Air Sizer 200 sieves dry powders with particle sizes between 20 µm and ~4 mm. It is especially suited for electrostatic and cohesive materials — including pharmaceuticals, ceramics, pigments, coatings, and food powders — where reproducible results are critical.

A vibration sieve shaker uses mechanical shaking to move particles through the mesh. The Air Sizer 200 uses a rotating air stream beneath the sieve to fluidize and disperse the sample. This prevents agglomeration in fine or electrostatic powders, keeps mesh apertures clear, and delivers accurate results significantly faster.

The Air Sizer 200 is compatible with standard 200 mm (8 inch) diameter test sieves. One sieve is used per analysis run, covering a broad particle size range from 20 µm to approximately 4 mm.
