Laboratory OES Spectrometer — Gas Element Analysis
With its exceptional 119–850 nm spectral range, the S6 Sirius 500 goes beyond conventional OES to accurately determine critical gas elements — Oxygen, Nitrogen and Hydrogen — in titanium, nickel superalloys and high-purity copper.
Core Technology
119–850 nm from deep UV to visible light; the argon-purge optical chamber enables accurate determination of gas elements invisible to standard OES.
Gas Element Analysis
Verify compliance with the gas content specifications critical in aerospace, biomedical, and nuclear sectors — only with the S6.

Frequently Asked Questions
Its wide spectral range down to 119 nm allows accurate determination of Oxygen (O), Nitrogen (N), and Hydrogen (H) gas elements that standard OES systems cannot measure. This capability is critical for aerospace, biomedical, and titanium production applications.
Gas element determination is possible in Titanium (O, N, H), Nickel superalloys (N), Cobalt (H), Copper (O), and Iron/Steel (Low N) matrices. Separate calibrations are created for each matrix.
The optical system is continuously flushed with argon gas to prevent atmospheric absorption of UV light. This method provides high signal quality at low wavelengths as a vacuum-free alternative.
The S6 supports gas element (O, N, H) analysis with its wide spectral range down to 119 nm. The S5 starts at 130 nm and does not include gas element analysis capability. Both instruments target different analytical needs — contact Anka Analitik to determine the best fit for your laboratory.
