Multi EQP-100

Hydraulic Press 50-Ton Force OES / C-S Analysis Multi-Station Touchscreen Control

The Multi EQP-100 is an automatic hydraulic press that processes metal samples through punching, pressing, crushing, and cutting — all from a single control unit. It delivers up to 50 tons of force, manages three independent workstations, and produces standardized, reproducible samples for OES and carbon-sulfur analysis.

Equilab Multi EQP-100 — Punch, Cut, Press and Crush Tooling

One Control Unit,
Four Operations

No separate machines for punching, pressing, crushing, or cutting. The Multi EQP-100 configures each station for a different operation using a quick-change tooling system.

🔷
Punching
Up to three 6 mm diameter cylindrical pins per stroke for carbon-sulfur and elemental analysis instruments. Consistent geometry ensures reproducible results.
🔬
Pressing
Pressed pellets in various diameters for XRF analysis. Produces a dense, homogeneous surface without additional binders.
Crushing and Conforming
Surface flattening for OES analysis; contact surface up to 53 mm diameter. Mushroom-shape forming for copper rod samples is also supported.
Chopping / Cutting
Lollipop-type test samples are cut to standard dimensions for direct loading into robotic sampling systems.
Equilab EQH-3.0 Induction Heater — Softening Lollipops and Metal Bars

EQH-3.0 — Induction
Heater

Pre-heating hard metal alloys before punching or cutting extends tooling life and preserves sample integrity. The EQH-3.0 was developed specifically for steel plant and foundry laboratory routines.

High Temperature in 30 Seconds
Induction generates heat directly inside the metal. Depending on the selected program, lollipops and bars reach workable temperature in as little as 30 seconds.
📐
50 × 50 cm Footprint
Standard 220 VAC power supply is sufficient. No special electrical connection, floor reinforcement, or additional infrastructure is required.
🛡
Automatic Alert and Safe Sample Retrieval
When heating is complete, the unit sounds an audible alert and gradually reduces power to the coil, allowing the operator to safely retrieve the sample.
📋
5 Customizable Heating Programs
Different heating profiles for different sample types can be selected or saved via the bilingual digital display.

7" Touchscreen —
Full Operational Control

All operations are managed through a 7-inch full-color touchscreen. The interface minimizes operator training time and keeps cycle management straightforward.

📋
5 Programmable Cycle Memories
Pressure, duration, and cycle parameters are stored separately for each sample type. Switching programs takes a single touch.
Double-Cycle Pressing
For applications requiring uniform compaction, double-cycle pressing is executed automatically without operator intervention.
🛡
Coded Door Safety System
Aluminum/polycarbonate safety enclosure with a coded open-door detector. A cycle cannot begin while the door is open; operator safety is enforced by the system.

Common Questions

Punching extracts the material as a uniform cylindrical pin. Using pins of identical size and shape improves analytical repeatability, reduces contamination risk, and provides the standard geometry that C/S analyzers require for reliable combustion results.

No. The Multi EQP-100 is designed to eliminate exactly this problem. The quick-change tooling system lets you configure each station connected to a single control unit for a different operation — cutting, punching, crushing, or XRF pellet pressing — without additional equipment.

Using the punch tooling, a single stroke produces up to three 6 mm diameter cylindrical pins. These are ready to be loaded directly into carbon-sulfur or elemental analysis instruments.

No. Select one of the five stored programs on the bilingual digital display, place the sample (lollipop or bar) inside the coil, and press Start. No specialist training or technical knowledge is required.

Yes. When the heating cycle ends, the unit sounds an audible alert and automatically reduces power to the coil in a controlled, gradual manner. This design gives the operator a clear indication and sufficient time to retrieve the sample safely.
